I’ve installed the Tweet This plugin, but when I attempt to use it, the info box pops up but the whole WordPress dashboard goes light grey and I can’t press any buttons or do anything. It’s like looking at my dashboard through a grey screen. I’ve tried signing out and signing back in…I have a screenshot but don’t know how to include that here, so apologies if this isn’t clear.

I’m sorry to hear Tweet This isn’t working properly.

I just released an update today that drastically changes how that popup box works, so my suggestions will depend on the plugin version. Version 1.3.0 is the version that made the changes. Anything before that is the old style box.

    Potential Pre-1.3.0 Solution
If the plugin version is pre-1.3.0, updating the plugin will probably fix it, because of the changes. WordPress only checks for plugin updates once or twice a day, so it may take some time to show the update. There are plugins available that can force WordPress to look.

    Potential 1.3.0 Solution
If the plugin is at version 1.3.0, then try updating to 1.3.1 or later. I just released version 1.3.1 with a possible fix based on your description. It wasn’t happening on any of my sites, but upon searching, I think I found what was happening on yours.

If none of the above worked.
If, version 1.3.1 or later still has this problem, then the screenshot would be very useful. www.remarpro.com doesn’t allow posting images here, but you can upload it somewhere else and include a link, or you can email it to me ([email protected]).

If you want to upload the image, there are lots of options. A free choice that doesn’t require registration or an account is PostImage.org. Just browse to the screenshot on your computer, then click Upload. Once uploaded, there will be a link to the picture available underneath the image. Simply reply here and paste in the link.
