Plugin not working with GENESIS Themes after Update 2.8?

  • HI,
    on https://www.sportkonzepte.biz/ um using Genesis 1.9.1 and Backcountry Child Theme 1.0.
    I updated the Social Plugin from Mailchimp V 2.8.
    When I activate the Plugin the WordPress Backend isn’t working anymore.
    With a standard Theme it’s OK.
    Can you help?

    I already contacted the guys from Genesis, but they answered this:

    Please start by contacting the plugin author. Then if they say something in the theme needs to change let us know what they said and we can help. Thanks.

  • It’s not really up to the plugin creator to test it on every single theme in the world.

    Sorry but Genesis have fobbed you off here.
