Plugin not working with custom post type as expected

  • Hello Team,

    I have purchased your plugin with basic subscription plan for my site. I have used latest plugin version 5.1.1 with 5.8.2 WordPress version.

    I have installed “Nelio A/B testing” plugin and tried to created new A/B testing for “Custom Post Type” section.

    I have worked on ” Nelio A/B Testing” and tried to creating new test case for Custom post type child page, But unfortunately it’s not working as expected and it redirect “control version A” to 404( Page not found ) page.

    To checked in detailed if there was any problem with our custom post type, I have created new “Test Post type” custom post type and created one test page. After that I tried to add A/B test case on this new custom post type page but unfortunately I got same error.

    So, please check this issue in detailed and share your feedback for the same. Also, let us know if we are made any mistake or follow wrongly.

    Also, I got one email with few error, Here, I mentioned that errors:

    Hi, Sampat. Thanks for reporting this issue.

    Unfortunately, I don’t know what could be amiss. Custom post type testing is basically equivalent to page and post testing, the only difference being that the tested element has a post_type other than page or post, of course.

    When does the error occur? When trying to edit variant B?

    Yes, I also knowing that custom post type is basically equivalent to page and post testing.

    But, when I am trying to edit variant B, I got the error 404 page not found.

    Not an issue, please take your time and investigate in detailed and let me know why it happened.

    Unfortunately, I can’t reproduce the issue. Would it be possible to check it on a staging site of your own?
