    Hi Mike,

Thank you very much for reporting this. We’re currently working on a fix for BP 1.9 and will release it during this week. Thank you one more time!

i am having the same exact problem same error

i noticed this happens when trying to add any dynamic links to the menu, if you add an actual page it goes away. this would be great if this was WP custom menu plugin, but its not, it is BP custom menu plugin, and the last i checked buddypress profile links are dynamic…

GReetings…I have purchased the pro version of your plugin. Odd I couldn’t find support or contact information your page. So I’m here I’d like to add after activating the plugin the Setting Page is black BP v1.9.1

    any help?

Jermon, your issue sounds like a plugin conflict. i am running the same version of BP and the settings page works fine. In my experience, blacked out admin oages are usually due to CSS conflicts with your theme and the plugin.

    +1
    Exactly same issue here !

More than 90% of the issues we face are actually plugin conflicts. If the plugin isn’t working, I’d start by disabling all plugins and checking if this makes the issues go away. If you have all plugins disabled and are still having problems, we’d be happy to learn more about your WordPress configuration.

Regarding the “dynamic links” in the menu, would you please give us an example of how to reproduce your issue ourselves? Thank you very much.

    @sensibleplugins,

    this is easy to reproduce:
1)add actual buddypress links (not the direct page link, the actual dynamic links provided in your “menus” screen under “buddypress” NOT “pages”)

and whala, errors occur. this happens on a fresh install of the theme with ONLY BP installed, so this is a conflict with your plugin and buddypress. I know for a fact it is not the theme because it happens in 2012 and 2013, as well as the official BP theme.

your plugin works ONLY if you use a direct link to an actual page. Unfortunately, to add buddypress pages to the official WP menu you need to use dynamic links provided by buddypress itself, as no 2 profiles have the same url. I can accomplish the same thing by simply putting an activity page link in my menu without your plugin, but then the user is not taken directly to “profile” or ” friends” etc.

that is what your plugin is supposed to facilitate.

Need update soon. it crashed my whole site.

I’m Running BuddyPress Version 1.9.2 and I purchased the pro plugin last night.

If I select a custom menu and reload my BuddyPress page the menu displays however non of the pages load.

If I turn the custom menu off the pages display.

The Pro version of the plugin states you can make sub-menus etc but nothing is working. Is an update coming soon to fix this issue?

I also can’t find any documentation or trouble shooting on your website or with the plugin. You should provide some documentation and information so we know what we can and can’t do and how to use it.

    Same thing here.
I’m actually getting two of these warnings,

Warning: strpos() [function.strpos]: Empty delimiter in /home/xyz/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-filters.php on line 489

If I add a age on the menu, one goes away, and so on, but I don’t want to add another page, much less two more tabs.

Please, let me know how to proceed.

Posted an issue here a week ago but received nothing yet. Does anyone here knows how to fix this? Please!

I removed this plugin, WHICH IS PAID FOR, and I’m still getting the error messages.

    Hi guys,

We’re not able to replicate this at all on a fresh WordPress install. Would you kindly refer us to the steps required to do that? We will very promptly release an update once we’re able to replicate what’s causing your problems.

    Thank you very much!

P.S.: We’re using the latest BP and WordPress versions in our tests.

I’m having a real hard time with the plugin, can’t get it to function.
I installed it on my existing wordpress and got the strpos error. After reading this thread I created a fresh install of a WP blog (wp 3.9). No plugins, no themes. Then installed buddypress 2.0 and set it up. Then I installed the custom profile plugin. Created a new menu and then went to the plgin setup and updated my menu.
Nothing happens: no custom menu items on my blog, no custom menu items in the menu editor.

I bought the plugin over 10 months ago and it never worked. Bad plugin with poor customer service.

I had to search google and learn how to edit the code to make the menu changes I wanted.

I feel like I got scammed on this one.
