Plugin not working when inserting category gallery

    I’ve been using WP Gallery Custom Links for a while a love it. Works like it should. But I recently needed a bit more functionality and got the Enhanced Media Library to easily add media_categories and because it works with the [gallery] shortcodes. Here’s my problem. media_categories work beautifully, easy to add sorted galleries in, but if I add the media_categories to the [gallery] shortcode, my custom links do not work. Custom Links says that as long as you’re working within the WP [gallery] this shouldn’t be an issue. Help, maybe there’s an easy answer I’m not seeing. Example: LINKS DO NOT WORK: [gallery media_category="94" size="medium"] LINKS WORK: [gallery size="medium" ids="1659"]

    I am an author of the Enhanced Media Library.

    WP Gallery Custom Links description states that the plugin is not supported anymore. But I installed it and tested with Enhanced Media Library. They work very well together, no problem with the custom links at all. My test shortcode is [gallery orderby="date" order="DESC" media_category="4"]. Please try to deactivate all other plugins, leave active just these two, and check what happens.

    Another thing: we are going to add custom links for galleries to Enhanced Media Library. But I can’t say when exactly the feature should be expected.

    I’ve also been unable to replicate the issue. Ashley, if you want me to take a look at your setup and see if I can fix things drop me an email at [email protected] and we can work out how I can log on to your wordpress and check it out.
