Plugin not working properly

    Hi,

    I have installed the plugin and activated it. In a post the “Add button” button appears next the “Add Media” button. When I click it the Add button window opens but only the instructions and Cancel button are showing as below:

    Insert Button into Editor

    Select a button from the list below to place the button shortcode in the editor.

    Cancel

    The buttons to select are not showing.

    My PHP is 5.5 and I am running the Goodnews Theme.

    Any ideas what’s happening?

    Hi Pix,

    Did you create any buttons already? And are they being displayed in the button overview of the plugin?

    You can try to copy the shortcode from the editor and see if that works ( aka displays on your site ). If that’s the case maybe there is some conflict with the theme.

    No, I haven’t created any buttons yet. Am not able to access the plug-in beyond the first screen I described above.

    I think it must be a theme conflict.

    In the WordPress menu on the left try to find a tab for “Maxbuttons” and click that. This is where you can design your buttons you can use later. The screen you mention is there for adding existing buttons to your content. Hope that helps.
