Plugin not working on my site

The plugin hasn’t changed since December, so I’m certain no plugin updates broke it, and it still works with the latest beta version of WordPress, so I don’t believe any WordPress updates broke it.

What part of it isn’t working? It sounds like the plugin still activates successfully. Do you just still see a regular text input box in the file and theme editors? No theme, font, ruler options up top? No syntax highlighting or gutters?

What browser (and version) are you using?

I just installed this and see no difference from my WP text editor’s UI.

Does your life-and-eyeballs saving plugin co-exist with TinyMCE?

Is Better File Editor dependent upon the active theme to work? Can the theme prevent it from working? I’m using Akita from ThemeBlvd and have enabled its child theme (you know, to prevent main theme updates from wiping certain styles and functions customizations from getting wiped out).

I’m a lay person, not a programmer…
