    Hi there,

The substitution works fine on our WP 5.03 system in pages. In “Blocks” the substitution is not working, it just displays as is. Why aren’t block substitutions working?

    Hi @erikdj

I assume that by substitutions you mean shortcodes, and by blocks you mean Gutenberg editor blocks, right? Blocks render differently, we have some plans to support it in v2 but not immediately.

    Correct on both

Let me confirm what are the plans for v2. I believe blocks are meant to be supported explicitly but then, again, we’ll be moving away from the shortcodes to twig so I’m not 100% sure how’s that going to work. (Well, technically twig is wrapped up in a shortcode as well but that’s only one to remember and that’s going to be a block, I believe).

    Hi @erikdj

I was able to use [msdyncrm_twig] in a “Custom HTML” block. That is probably the most appropriate block to use with V1 shortcodes.

    Thanks
