Did you check your user role exclusions?

Try resetting the robots list (there is an option to do so just under the list).

Thanks again for your prompt helpful solutions.

I did re set role exclusion per your suggestion.

However there seem to be excessive huge amount of bots going thru the site which was not the case on the old hosting?

Is there any setting inside wp admin account that can resolve this issue?
If not what is your best solution ??

There are several settings on the Statistics->Settings->Exclusions tab that can help. You may also want to enable the browscap feature on the Statistics->Settings->Externals page.

You haven’t included a subnet mask in your IP address exclusion, that may be causing the issue.

I appreciate that you are doing your best to resolve this vital issue

I can’t understand your solution as it is not clear at all.

Can you explain with all details,
what exactly is needed to be done here with this subnet mask ?

    Plugin Contributor Greg Ross

    (@gregross)

I would simply remove the IP address to begin with to see if that resolves the issue.

If it does you need to figure out if it is really required and if so what subnet you need to use. There are examples at the bottom of the IP exclusion list, but IP subnets are outside of the scope that I can help you with.
