Hi @buddybits. I’m sorry to hear about the poor experiences you’ve had with our plugin. What is the current version of the plugin you have installed?
The reason I ask is because the behaviour you described appears to be this known problem which unfortunately was an edge case. Fortunately, the latest version of the plugin (v3.2) should fix that problem.
We’ve seen reports that even after upgrading, the problem persists, which we believe to be because the plugin remains “stuck” in that non-working state. If this is the case, could I ask you to try the following:
- Navigate to the “All Settings” page:
/wp-admin/options.php
of your installation
- Clear out the value of the options named
instant-articles-current-state
, instant-articles-option-fb-app
and instant-articles-fb-page
- Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page
This will force the plugin to revert to it’s initial state for the Setup Wizard and you can input a new App ID and App Secret.
