    no redirection is needed here. it is obvious that if you redirect a domain with htaccess (which is executed before wordpress) that there is no chance for the browser to stay on that domain.
    you will need alias domains for that. please stick to the installation instructions and ask your hosting provider or webmaster for help on that, since this is out of our support scope.

    the redirected domain is an alias domain!
    Unfortunately, the manual does not describe how to do it, if not via htaccess.
    Normally alias domains are redirected via htaccess, at least at my hoster.
