Simply uploading a larger image will solve the issue. By larger I don’t mean a higher resolution, but an image with a bigger height and width.

    Currently you’re using a 200 x 200 px image. Try an image about 800px or 1000px wide.

    Hi Diana,
Thanks for ur fast reply, actually everything was ok till started optimization. The image size is 400×400 px not 200x 200px.
I want to use plugin but can’t prepare all images again + as u understand image optimization is also necessary.
Very sad that I have to choose between plugin & optimization.

    Thanks again

Yes, you’re right, the image is 400x400px, not 200x200px, my mistake.

But you still need a bigger image. The zoom plugin doesn’t actually add pixels to your images in order to show the zoom lens. It uses the biggest version of your image inside the zoom lens.

Uploading a bigger image doesn’t interfere with the website optimization. In WordPress core there is a technique called responsive images that loads a smaller version of the image. You also load the images only from the visible part of the screen with the lazy load functionality. Using only small images is an overkill that doesn’t help at all with website optimization.

    Ok Diana,
Let me change few images to test. I’ll let u know this trick worked or not?
    Thanks again
