Hi, I installed the plugin and I followed the documentation to set it up, but the pop up does not appear that requires installation on the smartphone. How can I do?
Does this plugin also work on mobile Safari and in general on iOS?

  • Hey @giuliastully,

The Add to Homescreen prompt occurs differently over OS and Browser’s. Can you please let me know upon which browser and device you tested the PWA?

Hi, I’ve tested the plugin on Chrome and nothing appears.
I used an android smartphone for testing.
This is the link of the site where I installed and set up the plugin: https://www.enfixweb.com/modellefotografi

    Hey there,

We looked upon your website and noticed that the Start Page upon the PWA is causing a scope ignorance. Can you please change the Start Page to any other one from drop-down within our settings page?

Hi, i change the page but it’s the same.
This is the link in the settings:
    https://www.enfixweb.com/modellefotografi/annunci/

Sorry, I forget to request you to change the Offline Page to any other page. Can you please set any other page for Offline too. Currently the Offline page by default is set to https://www.enfixweb.com/modellefotografi but at the user end its redirecting to https://www.enfixweb.com/modellefotografi/ automatically. But Service Worker API cannot understand this redirection and due to that it won’t works upon this case.

Also please change your Application Icon to an image of size 192px*192px, currently the Application Icon which you have set is of size 512px*512px. Hope you will update these changes and let me know.

    Hi,
    the start page: https://www.enfixweb.com/modellefotografi/annunci
    offline page: https://www.enfixweb.com/modellefotografi/abbonamenti-modelle/
And the images are in png and 192×192 for the icon application and 512×512 for the splash screen.
But the pop up not appear

Seems like you have updated the settings correctly. Here’s the screen cast video of how PWA works upon my device and its working perfectly now.

Please do clear the browsong data and try again, here’s the steps to clear the browsing data

    1) Tap on the Browser menu (3 dots at the top right corner of Chrome Browser)
    2) From the menu tap Settings, then tap Privacy
    3) Within the Privacy page at the bottom you can see Clear browsing data, tap on it.
    4) Once you tap it, you can see another page with Clear browsing data options. Select the Advanced tab
    5) Then select Browsing history, Cookies and site data, Cached images and files, Site settings and Media Licenses. Then tap CLEAR DELETE.

    Hi.

I have the same problem and I followed all the above directions and it does not work.
I tried it Chrome on Chrome and on Safari on iPhone.
    The site is https://artesecontextos.com

    Can you help please?

    Thank you

    Hi @rui-freitas,

I looked over your website and noticed that you haven’t updated the manifest on OneSignal with SuperPWA manifest. For supporting SuperPWA with OneSignal, you need to update the manifest generated by SuperPWA over OneSignal settings. Please update it accordingly and hope it will help you out to resolve the issue that you are facing.

    Thank you @josevarghese.

I already did it and nothing has changed. Still doesn’t have popup.

Thanks for the reply. Upon my test I noticed that all the features of PWA are working perfectly now.

Over iOS, the Add to Homescreen works entirely different than that of Android devices. We have a detailed guide to test PWA on iOS, please have a look over it.

If you have any Android devices, please do clear the browsing data to clear the cached versions and afterwards you can notice the Add to Homescreen prompt over it. Detailed guide here.

    Hope that will help you.

Ok, thank you @josevarghese I had not realized that.

Now, could you please help me to understand what means:

. Service Worker registered with a fetch event handler
. Display property should set to standalone, fullscreen and minimal-ui

    Thank you again.
