The plugin is potentially overriding not only the current post but also when inserting or updating other posts on save_post action.

In a nutshell, it became really dangerous to use as it changes other posts post type without your knowledge.

Just replied to your 1 star rating over there. Seems like a bit of a witch hunt to dupe your post over here, but maybe that’s just me.

The only reason this plugin changed posts without user knowledge is because other plugins were saving other posts without user knowledge.

Version 3.1.0 of Post Switcher adds another condition for other plugins behaving badly with recursive update_post() calls.

Hi James, I assure you there was no malice in my support post and review. I thought it was important to let other users know about the issue and try to get your attention. In my humble opinion, the issue wasn’t minor and the conflict could lead to serious issues.

I appologize if my communication did feel upsetting, be assured it wasn’t my attention.

I really appreciate your feedback and I will be happy to test the new version and edit my review and change the rating of course.

    Thank you

No worries. I’m sorry for the scolding; definitely doesn’t make anything better, and I appreciate you giving it another go!
