Plugin Not Working

The error you are getting says:

“Google Maps API error: ApiNotActivatedMapError https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#api-not-activated-map-error”

The Google Maps JavaScript API is not activated on your API project. You may need to enable the Google Maps JavaScript API under APIs in the Google API Console.

Please check that you have activated the APIs.

And, in WP Admin > Settings > CongressLookup, make sure you are using your original API Key in the Map field and the new Civics API Key in the Civics field.

Please report back with the results.

OK – I activated the Google Maps JavaScript API, and the maps are working but now I’m seeing this error: “Address or zip code not found. Please try again.”

I do not see the “Civics” field anywhere though – perhaps that’s the problem?

The current version of our plugin is 3.0. If you have an earlier version you have to update the plugin to the latest one. When you do so, the CongressLookup setting page will look like this and have two Google API fields:

Not yet – we’re having some issues updating the plugin on our side and hope to have it resolved shortly!
