Have the plugin installed but not able to login.

wordpress gives an error in the header:
Warning: hash_equals(): Expected known_string to be a string, null given in …
    wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 2242

And returns a password not correct message.

tried the yubikey demopage on https://demo.yubico.com/ (all tests return valid).
and updated the yubikey credentials for the plugin on https://upgrade.yubico.com/getapikey/

*before i used the yubikey plugin from Henrick Schack (wich stopped working as per now i guess hence i can’t login no more either using it)

I can’t re-create your error, I have a site running the latest WP, Woo, etc as well and the plugin is working without error messages. I suspect that there might be something wrong with your WP installation or host?

Same here (latest WP and plugins)…

What i did figure out is that (perhaps ik just looks like) when I
‘touch’ and ‘release’ the Yubikey the authentication fails.
    and when I
‘touch’ and ‘hold’ the Yubikey the authentication is accepted.
*In both cases it produces the keycode in the field.

Perhaps it has something to do with the Yubikey Endpoint?
I added the other 4 yubikey endpoints below the line where you call them in your script and for the moment i have less failed attempts….

@macguyver interesting, I do plan on a re-write relatively soon to use the php-yubikey git, which will likely improve things. For now I’m doing it all the hard way (pugin is kinda old).
