Plugin not showing in admin

    I use Porto theme on several wp sites, which has an integrated event portion, and I have a feeling that is conflicting with this plugin, not allowing it to load. After installing/activating the plugin, nothing new shows up on the admin menu for this plugin. I tried disabling the event portion of the Porto Theme, changing the slugs, but no luck, so looking for suggestions.

    Hi,

    It might indeed conflict with VS Event List because I read here (link) that it uses the “event” post type. VS Event List adds a page called “Events” in dashboard and a settings page at Settings > VS Event List. When disabling the event part via Porto this might also partly disable VS Event List.

    I have a similar issue with an Irontemplates theme (FWRD). I do see the settings page, but the events settings are conflcting with the built-in Event set up.

    I would love to use your plugin as I need something simple my clients can update themselves. I wonder if anyone has found a solution for this issue? I’ve looked for a clean easy event plugin for years – and I’m so disappointed.

    Did not see your reply before.
    If you cannot turn of the “event” post type via your theme settings, there’s no simple solution to fix this conflict. You can always contact the developer of your theme and ask for support.
