plugin not sending orders to email

    Been having a problem recently with wp pizza not forwarding certain orders to my gmail account for hours, while other orders are sent immediately. I receive calls from customers as to where their delivery is and I have not even received the order from the plugin yet. I know it is not a gmail issue (there are plenty of those as well) but a problem with the plugin. After receiving the call I check the order history section of wp pizza and find the order placed by the customer. I have upgraded to the latest version of the plugin but am not sure this will solve my problem.

    sorry, but how do you figure that’s a plugin issue if it sends some immediately and it all shows up in the order history…

    looks to me like a server/email issue – as in:
    gmail thinks your server is sending spam or your stuff is held in a queue at gmail for some reason

    my guess is maybe your spf/mx/dns whatever records are not setup correctly ?

    what did just occur to me and one thing to try:

    set a static from email address to be from your domain (i.e where the plugin is installed)

    by default, when an order is being sent, the from address is the customers (as he is the one sending the order really) and it gets send to you/yourshop with the customer himself in CC….

    so maybe – in your case and worth a try – google doesnt like for some reason that the FROM is from your customer but the server sending is yourdomain.com (although I would have thought the problem should then occur ALL the time , but what do I know about googles inner workings)

    Hello i’ve been encountering the same problem right now,

    Your plugin wont send orders to my email,i already check the email using contact form 7 and check mail, and both plugins send mail to my email.

    a) please start your own topic as opposed to replying to a resolved one from 8 months ago

    b) did you read any of the above , and did you turn on debug to check the debug .log

    c) link…?!
