Hello, the email subscribers plugin is not sending emails via WP Mail or PHP Mail. Before worked without problems. The “Send test email” works without issue, and also I receive the “Campaign Sent!” message. However CRON is not triggered. Any advice?

    Hello @felixlamour,

We have checked this issue at our but could replicate it.

We will need a bit more information related to the issue to understand the cause of it.

    1) When publishing a new post or sending a broadcast campaign, do reports are getting created on the Email Subscribers –> Reports page?
    2) Are they remaining in the queued status after waiting for a long time?
    3) Do emails are getting sent when clicking on the Send Queued Emails Now button on the reports page?

If you can provide some inputs on the above points that would be helpful in debugging the issue further.

Let us know if you have any further queries.

    Thank you.

    Thanks for your help.
    1) When sending a broadcast campaign, the emails are created, they are marked as sent in the
reports page, but if I view the detailed report, the emails are listed but not sent (the check is grey).
    2) Yes.
    3) I can’t click the button “Send Queued Emails Now” because the campaign is marked as sent.
    Thanks

    Hi @felixlamour,

Thanks for giving us some more information on the issue.

When emails are sent from the plugin’s end, they get marked in grey check mark and after they get opened, they are marked as opened with a double green check mark.

Below are few cases when an email isn’t marked as opened
    1) Email open tracking isn’t enabled in the campaign
If open tracking isn’t enabled then there status doen’s change when someone opens them. Can you please check if open tracking is enabled in the campaigns?
    2) Emails are getting delivered into the spam folder
When emails get delivered into the spam folder, they aren’t tracked. There are many factors which cause an email to be delivered into the spam folder. You can read more about them from here.
    3) Subscribers have disbled images in their email client
To track opens, the plugin embed a tiny invisible image into the email. When images are disabled in the email, this image doesn’t get rendered and thus email opening can’t be tracked in this case.

On the reports page, are all emails are with grey check mark? If some of them have grey check mark, then it is possible that email got delivered into the spam folder. If all the emails have this issue, then the issue might be with the sending process. We might need to debug it further to understand the issue. You can contact us here if you want us to look into this issue further.

Hope this helps you. Let us know if you have any further queries.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

thanks. When I send the emails, the “Send test email” works without issue, and also I receive the “Campaign Sent!” message, but the emails containing the newsletter are not delivered. I sent a campaign to a private group of users to test it, including myself, and the emails don’t finish in the spam folder. I also checked the WHM delivery queue, and those emails are not sent.

    Thanks

    Hello @felixlamour,

Thanks for giving more information related to the issue.

If you are using WP Mail as a mailer then you can check if email are getting dispatched from the plugin’s end or not through email logging plugins.

You can install plugin like Check & Log Email for that purpose.

Also you can contact us here if you want us to further look into the issue.

Hope this help you. Let us know what comes out in your testing.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

thanks, I installed the suggested plugin, and the site normally sends emails. As I explained before, the server has no problem sending emails, it’s the Email Subscribers & Newsletters plugin not sending the campaign.

On email logs, the emails of the campaign are marked as not sent, displaying this message: “Could not instantiate mail function.”

    Thanks
