Plugin not reloading page

  • I am trying to create ‘gated content’ and require users to fill out a form before they can access a PDF on my website. I am using contact form 7 as my form and after submission of the form my goal is set up to show custom text that includes a link to the PDF.

    After completion of the form, however, the page does not automatically reload. A user must refresh the page to reveal the custom text. In the Before & After Contact Form 7 settings, the box for ‘Reload the page when CF7 forms are completed’ IS checked. Whenever I try to uncheck this box, though, it doesn’t work and just goes back to being checked, so I think something is wrong with this setting.

    Hey @amandasohaney!

    Thank you for the report!

    We have received several reports of issues with CF7 refreshing the page after goals are completed. These started occurring after a recent CF7 update. We are working on identifying the source of the issue and patching it, if there is a patch to be made! Hopefully it will be fixed very soon.
