Hi there,

I’m currently trying to use AdInserter to insert my NitroPay ads in bulk. However, it seems like the plugin does not seem to recognize paragraphs – when I try to add some code to the pages using this option, nothing gets inserted. Does this perhaps have something to do with my theme (BeTheme)?

I’ve tried inserting after HTML using p as an element, and this works. However, this means that an ad would show up after EVERY paragraph, and that is too much of course. Any way you can help with this? Is there a way to make AdInserter recognize paragraphs automatically, or a way to use the “After HTML element” option and make it so that it shows only after every X element?

Hello,

in most cases Ad Inserter recognizes paragraphs automatically, it only needs to be configured properly:

Hi there,

I just checked and it seems like the plugin does recognize my paragraphs in posts (when I check for availaible positions for automatic insertion, they light up green).

My apologies, I seemed to have missed the before you ask for help post. I’ve enabled debugging mode now and made sure my caching plugins are not currently active.

It seems that Ad Inserter doesn’t get any content for processing (insertion).
The WP hook the_content is called, however, no content is passed to this filter:

This is either bacause of the theme or some other plugin (less likely).

Can you test with a different theme?

I’m afraid I can’t just change the theme of my website without losing content. I’ll try to get in touch with BeTheme support. A quick search has shown that more people had problems with the_content, but given their track record they’ll probably just tell me they don’t support AdInserter as a plugin.

Given that AdInserter does seem to recognize HTML elements (at least “p”) on my pages, is there any way I can use this to only put an ad after a single “p” element or every Xth “p” element?

You can try to configure insertion after p elments:

Set insertion to server-side and then configure Filter to define wanted insertions:

@pascalmeijerink are you using nitropay regular banner or their ARTICLE format?

Been trying to get it working for hours now and no way, can you help?
