Thanks for the plugin. It has massive pros in that a lot of the things that are paid extensions are included, so this free version seems even better than premium versions offered in other marketplaces. Kudos, nice job and thank you for the countless hours of development.

My concern is that the vendors in my marketplace are located in different states. If vendors use my state as the nexus they are going to have massive legal issues. So this plugin only seems to work for marketplaces where ALL of the vendors are based in the same state. Am I reading this wrong? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi sdomwot,

    Thanks much. ??

Taxes is an issue, that’s for sure. With WC Vendors Free, there is no way to determine where the Vendor ships from. In WC Vendors Pro, in a soon-to-be-released update, we will look at taxes from a “Where is a vendor” based on their Pro Dashboard shop settings which gets their full address for calculations on. And from there, the taxes will be properly charged and distributed as your settings allow it.

    Cheers

Thanks for the response, Ben. I guess here is the million dollar question, I noticed that this feature was anticipated being released over a year ago, and still isn’t ready for production. Can you share your anticipated release date? If it is within a week or 2 I’ll wait and gladly pay. If it is outside of that time frame I’ll switch from a multi vendor plugin to a multi store. Any input will be greatly appreciated and will help your users make key decisions. Thanks

We tend to develop features in the popularity they are requested in. This one has never really been requested much (maybe 3 or 4 times in 2 years?). Still it’s on the list to do. I’d like to have it in Pro before March 2016.
