sorry I was wrong the plugin works fine. it creates all links to
    the permalink /tag/
    if tag is set.

Here is my real problem: in my system all the tag archive pages are empty and showing no content, that is why I want to link to

    https://www.domain.com/?s=hashtagword

    instead of https://www.domain.com/tag/hashtagword

any idea ? or any possibility to redirect all /tag/hashtags url’s dynamically to /?s=hashtagword

my users are also confused because the mix up post_tag and hashtags
in a perfect world one would only set /tag/ in permalink
and than on click the tag archieve for this word would show up and show:
    – all activity posts and comments with the hashtag word
    – all articles with the hashtag word (used in title or main text of the post)
    – show all member names with the hashtag word
    – show all post_tags with the hashtag word

Key advantage of the hastagger plugin is that it converts to post tags so that it is fully compatible to WordPress’ tag system and works together with already existing tags. This behavior will not be changed. If this does not meet your requirements I’m sorry you have to find another solution.

But in my honest opinion you should solve the problem that your tag archive pages are empty. As you noticed yourself that’s the real problem…

By the way is your website that secret you did not post the real links?

@smartware sorry i made a mistake. the plugin works fine !
I have content now in my tag archieve pages.

And no of course my website is not a secret. It is https://www.kawaii.com

    Thanks for the message.
I will try to somehow to pull the activity comments related to the hashtag into the tag archieve page for the keyword.

    Glad to hear it works.

In WordPress Comments can not have tags. This would require a completely custom solution.
