Plugin not geolocating currency

    Hello,

    Firstly, thank you for an excellent plugin, the speeds are unbelievable and I’m only on the lite version!

    The plugin is on a site with multi currencies which need to geo locate (a US visitor sees prices in USD, a UK visitor sees them in pounds etc…).

    We use the WOOCS plugin for the currencies and geolocating. In the past we’ve had it working fine with a combination of Autoptimize and WP Super Cache plugins. Since we’ve switched to Swift Lite, the speed has definitely improved but the currency stopped geo locating. We do have the Geo locate option enabled in Woocommerce (can’t have the next level of ‘Geo locate with caching support’ enabled – this adds a ?xxxx string to all urls and causes other issues). We do also have the ‘are you using a caching plugin’ option checked in WOOCS.

    How can we fix the geolocating and get the correct currency to show by user’s location?

    Hi,

    You should load prices via AJAX, otherwise it will show the cached prices. Only In Pro Version we have an one click solution, which is using Lazyload Elements feature to load correct currency based on visitor location.

    Alternatively you can enable GEO IP Support in Settings > Woocommerce, but it will increase the cache size as it will create separate cache for each allowed country.

    Hi, thank you for your reply.

    We’ll try the the AJAX solution – as mentioned, the additional Woocommerce GEO IP locating button causes too many other issues.
