I’ve been trying to connect my WooCommerce to Mailchimp for almost a week now. I’ve installed, deleted, and reinstalled the plugin several times.

When I reinstall I enter my API key and then attempt to sync. The sync doesn’t seem to do anything inside of WordPress. When I try to connect the site in MailChimp nothing happens. A loading animation starts but nothing ever happens.

I’ve been working with Teddy from MailChimp support on this. He had me delete the plugin, drop the old tables (apparently deleting the plugin didn’t remove them), and reinstall. So far nothing has worked.

My site is on pantheon. I’m running php 7.2, WordPress 4.9.6 MailChimp for WooComerce 2.1.7.

In the logs I’m getting this message (I’ve cut out the customer information, and redacted some information from my host):

2018-05-22T21:15:17+00:00 ERROR order_submit.error :: addStoreOrder :: 7359 :: Resource Not Found :: The requested resource could not be found. on 1287 in **pantheon**/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/includes/api/class-mailchimp-api.php

@wickedurge thanks for reporting the issue. Can you see how many stores that you have through the MailChimp API ( using PostMan ) or possibly ask support to do this for you?

It seems as if there may be a discrepancy in your ‘connected sites’. You actually don’t need to connect the site manually inside MailChimp’s admin area – the plugin does that for you automatically – but we’ve seen at times that certain accounts needed to flush data from older connected sites, that’s not visible to anyone other than the internal MailChimp team.

Can you reach out to them one more time and have them double verify that you only have 1 store connected with that domain?

Be glad to continue this conversation afterwards.

I spoke with mailchimp and they confirmed that there’s no stores connected to our account.

@wickedurge ok – under that scenario, you should be able to uninstall -> reinstall the plugin if they’ve verified that you don’t have any connected sites as of now. If for some reason you still run into trouble – please report back here again.

Ok. I uninstalled the plugin and manually went through and removed the tables that it didn’t clean up just to be thorough. I then reinstalled the plugin and I’m getting the same issue.

I’ve now uninstalled and reinstalled this plugin (with dropping the tables) three times now.

@wickedurge can you DM me and send some screenshots of what you see in your plugin admin where your list is selected? Also send me your MailChimp username / email / store URL so I can run this up another channel. Something is off obviously – but we’ll get this all handled for you.

    Ryan,

I’m not seeing a way to DM on here. What’s the best way to contact you?

@wickedurge just wanted to say that Teddy and I were talking today – and we’ve been trying to work through the solution behind the scenes. Once we get more info ( he’s emailing you privately ) we’ll be able to fix the problem.

I did want to ask though – did you happen to manually upload / delete the plugin or did you do this through the installer / delete in the admin area?

    For folks watching this thread:

It seems like we were able to fix this problem by using the WP CLI wp queue listen command running in the console.

@wickedurge since we brought our conversation offline over email – I’m going to close this ticket out. We’re troubleshooting some very custom server infrastructure as you were saying with the caching engine etc.
