We recently updated to Woocommerce 3.0.4 on our Staging website to test that all plugins were compatible prior to rolling out on the live website. We were running on 2.6.4 previously. Initially, when we first completed the update, the ‘enable stock alert’ button still came up in the product editing page but did not work. The product showed as being ‘in stock’ rather than with the automated stock subscription bar.

I just updated the plugin to the latest version to see if this was the issue and now the ‘enable stock alert’ button doesn’t appear at all within the product editing page. Am happy to provide FTP details to determine what the issue is.

    Thanks!

  • Hi @jessicaskinner90, thanks for reaching our support!!

    – the ‘enable stock alert’ button doesn’t appear at all within the product editing page
    >> It might be plugin conflict issue. Just to be sure, can you please disable all the plugins except WooCommerce and WC Stock Alert and check the settings again.

    – The product showed as being ‘in stock’ rather than with the automated stock subscription bar.

    >> The “In Stock” or “Out Of Stock” status is controlled by WooCommerce only. Now, can you please share us the screenshot of the issue you are facing here.
