Plugin no submitting or submitting incorrectly.

    The plugin isn’t submitting, or it isn’t submitting correctly.

    On Saturday, Feb. 24, I learned someone had submitted a story, but I never received it.

    I wrote a test submission. I clicked submit (after checking Google reCAPTCHA). I was sent to my home page. I didn’t get a success message.I didn’t get an error page. I checked my submission email account; no submission arrived.

    I then changed some settings. I sent another test message. It came to my submissions email account. The email stated I should visit my admin area. My admin address was there, so I clicked it and was taken to my admin dashboard. Where did the story go?

    Glad to help. There can be a lot of variables involved with WordPress sites, so it’s pretty much impossible to just “guess” what the issue may be in any particular situation.

    The best thing I can recommend is to examine your site’s error/debug logs, and do some basic troubleshooting of your plugins and theme. That will help you discover the source of any conflict or issue. And if the site is live, you can always clone it locally or even set up a fresh default WP install and test that way.
