Issue with adding top level product categories to a custom sidebar?

I have reached out to support a few time times in the last week with no response. Is this plugin still being supported and maintained?

I am running into an issue I’ve never seen before where not all of the items that I’m trying to add are getting added to the theme sidebar.

I’m trying to add a number of specific product categories and sub categories and it’s not adding all of them. I thought it might be a total limit or something but I can keep added some items, just not some specific ones. It appears that those specific items are top level product categories.

Any idea? If it helps, I could send you logins and make a video showing you how to recreate the issue, thanks!
