Plugin no longer getting URL data using Default:get

    I setup Contact Form 7 to find a URL variable which I am sending from a previous page selection.
    The system used to work to provide the data when the email got sent but has stopped working and only sends back the root code that we’re using.

    Group Interested in: [text* gname default:get]

    instead of providing
    Group Interested in: Steve Baldwin
    (steve baldwin is the value for gname=”steve baldwin” in the URL.

    Suggestions?
