    I was worried because my security plugin identifies your plugin as critical risk. It recommends to uninstall your plugin and search for a replacement.


    I have installed your plugin on 32 websites and replacing your plugin might be quite a lot of work.

    I will wait some time and see how things evolve.

    Hi there at AWPCP ??

    Many of us are getting critical error messages in our AWPCP installations and we are very(!) curious about the answer when it wil be updated. Your plug in is very usefull and we love it. I hope that the sutdown actually is temporary, as published and promised.

    If you are getting critical errors on your site, you shouldn’t be. You may be seeing an error message or warning from some other plugin, but if you are seeing a critical error on your site, we would like to troubleshoot this issue with you further.

    There are plugins like Wordfence that generate a critical error when a plugin dissappears from the WordPress plugin directory. That made me also think to remove AWPCP completely. I am glad that the plugin will be soon available again.

    Massive error messages now with the AWPCP Plug In! I cannot recomment using this software. There are other free plug ins here at Wordpres. Search “Classifieds” or Classified Ads”.

    From the plugin page now: This plugin has been closed as of March 7, 2024 and is not available for download. Reason: Security Issue.

    Could you provide an update on this? What is soon? The plugin has been closed for two months now.

    I just tried to contact you on your website, but the captcha thingy isn’t showing so there is nothing to click on and it generates error messages….

    I’ve been using your plugin for years. I don’t have a lot of users, but I love how it displays and and it’s a good tool for me. It’s worked well until yesterday. A customer tried to place an ad but she kept getting error messages. The payment went through PayPal but did not register as a sale on the site. She took a couple of screen shots that I can give you. After reading all of these other entries, I hope that things will be fixed as it’s a great plugin!
