    Hi,
After installing your plugin and adding a code to the post I got an error message:

Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /public_html/www-kotliccy/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-scrollgallery/nggScrollGallery.php on line 200

Warning: getimagesize(https://www.sampledomain.com/www-kotliccy/wp-content/gallery/kuchnie-nowoczesne-20/dsc02927.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /public_html/www-kotliccy/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-scrollgallery/nggScrollGallery.php on line 200

Warning: Division by zero in /public_html/www-kotliccy/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-scrollgallery/nggScrollGallery.php on line 206

I looks like the plugin is working – I can see the thumbnails and I can scroll them – but there are no large images below. I guess there is a problem with resizing the images/writing permissions on server.
Should I contact my hosting company or this is rather something with WP configuration setup?

    I would appreciate your help.

    Best regards,
    Krzysztof

  • Hi Krzysztof,
I am also having the same problems.
The gallery cannot yet display images that are a mixture of portrait and landscape.
You can correct this to some extent by unticking the adjustImagesize: (boolean) adjust the imagesize box. This should make the gallery appear with no error messages. What will happen, however, is that the images will appear stretched to fit the box. You could overcome this by adjusting the width and height in the scrollGallery options to whatever suits your images best, then opening your images in Photoshop or similar and resizing the canvas (not the image itself) to the same size. Hopefully, this should work until an update comes out.

    Hi there,

Thanks for the tip. What exactly do you mean by unticking the adjustImagesize?
Do you mean commenting the line of code in PHP file? (nggScrollGallery.php)

    I’m a newbie in WP/PHP:)
I would appreciate if you could give me more details on this.
    Thank you!

    Krzysztof

    Hi Krzysztof,
For this, you don’t need to edit any php files.
Just go to WordPress’s own content management system. You can get there by going to https://www.yourwebsite.com/wp-admin
Scroll down to the bottom, and on the left you should see the ScrollGallery link. Click on this and you should see the options, adjustImagesize being one of them, as well as the image width and height box.

    ianrendall, thank you!

I don’t know how to say this….but I missed the link to ScrollGallery in admin panel.
    It’s right there…..am I blind today? :))

I used the setting page for ScrollGallery – like you said and everything is working now. Thank you, thank you for your patience and you help!

    best regards,
    Krzysztof
