[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] XML-RPC Upload image issue
-
We need some help with an issue reported by one of the users of our Windows Live Photo Gallery plugin ( https://www.krangoo.com/wordpress-and-more ).
We upload images to the website using a call to the XML-RPC function ngg.uploadImage which reports no errors and returns information that makes sense. Looking at the webserver, the uploaded images are nicely stored in the gallery folder and the thumbnails are there as well.
However, when trying to display the images (for example by using a post with [nggallery id=xxx]) you will see a page with the thumbnails, but clicking them results in errors. None of the links to the images in the gallery succeed; they all fail with a “Not found” error.
When uploading the same images using the web browser to a NextGEN gallery and displaying that gallery in a post, everything works fine.
So, it looks like ngg.uploadImage is doing something differently than the upload via the web browser, resulting in these errors.
