• I have installed the gallery on my website. I have been able to use the gallery successfully from the side bar widget and by inserting it into posts. For some reason when I create a new page just for the gallery, when I load the page, all I get is code ‘[nggallery id=1]’.
Any ideas? I thought it might be the theme, so I tried it with the orgianal worpress, pre-installed theme and got the same.

    Please Help!

  • This typically happens if you have spaces after the [ and/or before the ].

I checked, and there are no spaces. I used the same method of inserting the gallery on both a post and a page and the problem only appears on a page.

It works ok on wordpress pages for me and if gallery 1 didn’t exist on your site you would get an error. I’m stumped.

Did you use the visual editor to enter the code? Check with html-editor because sometimes there is formatting-code in there that is not displayed by the visual editor but prevents the plugin from showing up correctly.
