[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Watermark using standard text not showing…

Did you apply the watermark from the bulk actions menu inside your gallery? It is not enough to set the watermark under the options tab you need to apply it inside each gallery.

Yes, I sure did…and when I click on the picture itself in the gallery it expands and I see the watermark…yet, when I click on the view button beneath the pic I do not see the watermark..and I dod not see it when ZI post the pics…

Thanks…I saw that also..but i reread it now that I am more familiar with the problem…

Here’s the issue…as far as I can figure…

I was using pics that had already been posted in a gallery…and applying the watermark to those. Even clearing the cache did not help. I read on that post about the guy importing a fresh set under a different problem he was having, but I figured I would try it.

And it worked. So, as soon as you DL the pics into the gallery, apply the WM then…..

you think there is anything to it?..or dangerous in the plug in?

Typically if something seems suspicious I will do a search to see what has been reported. Enter “the plugin name + reviews” into a search engine and see what is returned.

There is usually more than one plugin for any given feature so you could try a different one if you are unsure.
