• What steps will reproduce the problem?
    1. Create a gallery
    2. Upload pictures
    3. In “manage galleries”, select the gallery, and clic on one of the
    displayed thumb

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The larger image sould be opened, but instead the “waiting icon” appears forever.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
    WordPress 2.7, NextGEN Gallery 1.0.2, Windows 2008 and IIS/7.0

It is obviously related to “read” file permissions on the content of the gallery folder created (eg galleryTests). When adding “manually” the “read” permission to IUSR, then the plugin display the large picture when clicking on the thumb.

In summary, the permissions seem ok for Gallery and its subfolders, ok for the thumbs pictures within their respective subfolders, but something is missing for the file permissions attached to the original uploaded pictures files.

Someone has the expertise with the components ?

    Thanks,
    G.

The special thing about this problem is that the Gallery folder, the sub-gallery folder, the sub-gallery thumb folder and the thumbs pictures all have the right permissions. The only problem is with the permissions of the pictures saved by NextGen in the Gallery subfolder.
I have to manually give the read permissions to theses pictures and then NextGen works as designed.

    Someone has an idea ?
