[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Translation does not work on the Page

I installed NextGen Gallery on WordPress 3.0.1! The site and plugin runs in german, but the plugin shows me the translated phrases only in the admin area. On the blog a gallery for example shows the phrase [Show as slideshow] or [Show picture list] and not the translated one. How can I fix this?
