Hi, I just can′t figure out what is wrong.

Had nextgenGallery 0.99 installed unter WP2.6…for some reason the button integrated in the tincymce WYSIWIG editor returned a 404 when clicked. Upgraded to WP 2.7 B3 and NextgenGallery 1.00. Same thing…What is weird: In another installation (WP 2.7 Beta 3 and NextGenGallery 1.00) Everything works fine!

There is no difference between the two exept one…

The working one runs in a subdirectory eliwagar.com/islandpferde.

The not working one runs on it′s own domain katzencontent.com, that point to the absolute subfolger eliwagar.com/katzencontent.

Could it be that this is the core of the problem? and if so: How do I fix it?

If anybody can help: thanks so much!!!

    Greeting Eli

OK, checked that one with just ANOTHER installation…what I described above can′t be the problem….

I cannot comment to your issue but I am having problems since I upgraded my WP from 2.6.3 to 2.6.5

The TinyMCE does not display unless I have the NextGen plugin activated, otherwise the visual editor is gone and the function of the HTML option disappears. ONLY when I have the NextGen plugin active version 0.99.1 does the TinyMCE visual editor work. I have NO IDEA why these two should conflict at all. But there is a problem here with this new version of WP and NextGen. My older and original WP install worked without any problems at all.

Hope this info helps give you an idea of where to look….

Hi, I am still having the same problem…despite ipgrading to WP 2.7 RC! and Nextgen 1.00 RC2. I have no idea what is going wrong…since it works on the other installations…I am a little desperate right now ??

I’m also encountering that problem (getting a 404 popped up) when I try to add a gallery to a post. Using WordPress 2.7 and NG 1.0.1.

I also have the WP instance installed as a domain that’s a sub-folder in another domain.

Any help / ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Adding gallery to post via visual editor loads in custom WP 404 error page. Think I need an .htaccess fix because permalinks are on, but not sure how.
