[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thumbs Another Thumb nail problem

Can you give us the link to your site, or you are working just under localhost? If this is the case, make sure that your upload path under ngg gallery settings is configured correctly. If yes, try to access the photos using the full path: this would probably look like: https://localhost/wordpress/wp-content/gallery/your_gallery_name/your_photo.jpg

A link to your site would be helpful.

ok, you must note the differences between those two links right?

https://www.bildablog.com/furnacebook/wp-content/gallery/furnaces/thumbs/thumbs_goodman80%25045.jpg – this is the working link to the picture, apparently hosted on other domain?
Re-check your thumbnails!

They are both links from the same site –

https://www.furnacebook.com is a subdomain of https://www.bildablog.com –

So nextgen sent the files to the first link https://www.furnacebook.com/wp-content……….

And the legacy file system gives the absolute (if thats what you would call it) path of https://www.bildablog.com/furnacebook………

The second one is the absolute path

Ok I finally figured it out.

I tried uploading some of the other photos that i had in my folder and they rendered properly

The only difference in the photos were the names.

the photo named GOODMAN80%115 would not render when I uploaded

I changed the name to GOODMAN80Percent115 it now uploads and displays correctly …

Thanks Dino for the offer to help — Are there any other characters that would be construed as code or a no no in the photo names ?

So funny, just wanted to tell you about that ‘%’ sign getting truncated. You should consider the ‘&’, ‘$’ to not be part of any name.

Just in time bud lol — Who knew ? Well you prob did . I am learning more and more to keep your file names simple and basic abc and 123 .

Any idea how to click on the thumb and not have that little picviewer come up ? Take a look https://www.furnacebook.com scroll down to the test page (second post) and of course if you want to buy a furnace hit the buttons LOL

I want to go to another page with more description or a pop up with more description

I think i can figure it out if i want to spend a few days doing it but if someone already knows how all the better.
