[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thumbnails not showing (no error message)

Recently downloaded NexGen Gallery, so I got the latest version. I created six galleries 4 out of 6 are working fine. 2 of them a larger image appears instead of the thumbnails. when I click the image, it’s linking directly to the image instead of displaying thumbnails and opening the lightbox.
I also added an additional photo to the gallery, but it’s not showing on the page. This leads me to believe that the gallery is not linking properly to the page. However I checked the page ID and it is correct in NexGen Gallery.
