[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thumbnails do not display in POST (?)

From reading all of the available documentation, it would seem to me that using the shortcode [gallery=x] (where x=my gallery ID number) in either a post OR page will display a series of thumbnails from that gallery. Is this correct?

My problem is that no matter how many different ways I’ve tried it, [gallery=1] ONLY displays thumbnails from Gallery ID(1) when used on a PAGE. When used in a POST, it will only display the imagebrowser for that gallery.

It’s possible that I just don’t understand the methodology but I thought [imagebrowser=x] was used to display the imagebrowser?

Could someone please shed some light on this??
