• I’m having a bunch of issues in regards to my NextGen Gallety. First off, I set my thumbnails to be 200×200 but it still seems to default the thumbs to 100×75. How do I get it to be at the size i defined?

  • Can I add something to this query please…
All our images are A4 format i.e. taller than wide.
We’ve reset the thumbnails too… to no avail. Some images on the site have been cropped top and bottom; others have been stretched to square.
Can we specify each image with its’ exact size so that it’s portrayed correctly? Is this possible?

@databell: It does say in the settings that the maximum size of the thumbnails is 100×75, you may be able to change this by directly editing the NextGen plugin files.

@wanderers: go to manage gallery and choose one of the galleries, it will list the thumbnails, title etc. If you hover over the thumb I would select “edit thumb”, this will at least allow you to control the look of the thumbnail better.

@mentalist3d Correct. However, if you go to Gallery–>Options–>Thumbnails, you can change that to whatever you like. Only it doesn’t work. Does this mean I need to hardcode it somewhere. Then what’s the point of doing it in the Options area?

After you change the thumbnail size in options you need to go back in and regenerate new thumbnails in all your galleries.

My problem is I set my thumbnails to be 128×128 and then refreshed all my pictures to this size. But now the thumbnails don’t fit on my album page properly. I’m using the compact style and the pictures are too big for the display box behind them(which seems to be a gif file so therefore can’t change sizes?)

So my question is how do I get proper size thumbnails for my album pages, but leave the thumbnails on the gallergy pages at 128×128?
