[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thumbnail issue

My thumbnails are failing due to memory, while my high-resolution images are going through. Is there a way to fix this? When I try to edit the thumbnails it just reminds me that there was a fatal error due to memory. My domain has unlimited storage. Thank you!
