[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Stretched Photos (metadata issue?)

First of all… let me say that I love NextGen gallery. It made my project so much easier, so thank you for the great plug in.
i am having an issue where when i upload a new photo to a pre-existing gallery things get out of wack and all the photos get resized to the same size as the image i just posted. this is a problem because i am using both horizontal and vertical oriented images. so there is some serious stretching…
when i upload a new image it is showing the pixel size, which it does not do for images uploaded previously, and that is available in the metadata… so i am thinking maybe its because of the update and not being able to shut off “add metadata” like it was in the old versions… so lets try that first.
anyone know how to keep nextgen from uploading the metadata?
