[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Stopping the galleryview template

Is there a short code or setting that allows that the slideshow effect is stopped when a visitor clicks on one of the thumbnail images?

It would be really helpful. If a user clicks on a thumbnail, he/she obviously wants to focus on one image, and not have the slideshow continuing again straight away.

Also, is there a chance to overwrite the global duration-time setting?

I have found a page with custom field information (https://nextgen-gallery.com/wordtube-20/wordtube-custom-fields/), but it does not cover any of the above questions.
I know I could use some flash based templates which allow me to stop the slideshow but I do need to avoid flash for the site I am currently building.

I would appreciate if you could help.
