[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] sort order doesn't work in NexGen Sidebar widget

The sort order doesn’t appear to be working when using the nexgen widget. There is a setting within the sidebar widget in which you either need to select random or recently added which doesn’t make a lot of sense since you’re suppose to be able to define how images are ordered in the settings of Nexgen gallery. I have it set to custom but when I rearrange them they don’t change order. Any ideas?
