[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Sort Order and images per row

How are you using the plugin?

There is a “sort gallery” button under managing galleries, and albums can also be dragged around.

Is there a way to limit how many images will be displayed in a row? I have a gallery of images that I want to be exactly five images wide, even though the page will allow eight thumbnails wide.

There is a possibility to view a different number of images per row page:

but what I would also want is to have some images from one gallery distributed on different places, in different amounts and to have complete control to which images appear where.

If this option doesn’t exist yet, we could maybe kindly ask Mr. Rabe to implement it, I think it is not too hard to program it in…

As far as I know there is no option for limiting the number of pictures, it just makes the floated divs with the link-images. You can make a container div with a specified width, that will limit the number of pictures. You can find the appropriate width by multiplying thumbnail width (+ paddings-margins) and the number of pictures needed.
