[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] show=slide won't work on homepage

    I am using the nextgen gallery and its working fine on all pages except the home page. I just insert [nggallery=1] into a page and my gallery display fine and then I can click view as slideshow to view as a slideshow. On the homepage though when I click view as slideshow the page displays my first post instead. Ive noticed that when I click the link the page 301’s and it only does this on the homepage but I don’t know why. I am using thematic I don’t know if this could have anything to do with it.   • I am also having this problem and have as yet not found a solution to it. I’ve upgraded to WP 3.1.2 and latest version of Nextgen and am using a different theme (elements-of-seo). I’m getting desperate for a solution.

    Geoff I see you have managed to switch off the slideshow on your home page – could you tell me how you did that at least please?
