[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Please Please integrate a rating/voting system!

I’ve the ngg & nggv installed together and working…
But the nggv makes the page look really hideous, and also has another big problem that the number of queries in the page simply multiplies.
With some 20 pictures in a page, I’m hundreds of query executions, and when I checked the queries (with the help of GDPT), 80% of them were nggv select queries only. ??

Anyone has any idea how this can be made better?
