[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Photos take too long to display

  • When I click on a thumbnail to view it it can take 4-5 seconds for the photo to display.

    We’re on 6mb broadband and don’t understand why it should take to long for the images to be displayed.

    Any ideas?

    Check you image resolution… NextGEN will not resize them after upload, so it can be a reason that they causes a long loading time

    Hi Alex,

    Yep – that was the problem. I resized them and uploaded them at 50% and they load brilliantly.
