[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] not uploading images in galleries

  • Hi ~

    I checked out your plugin and I would really like to use it on my website. I’m using wordpress version 2.6.3. So, I downloaded your plugin version 0.99. I will paste my current server settings in a bit. I’ve run into a problem. I can create a gallery, but I’m unable to upload any images into it. I don’t get a message stating that the upload is done, and when I check ‘Manage Gallery’, I find that there are no images in it. Could someone please help? Here are the settings of my server & GD:

    I am using WP 2.7 but seemed to be having a similar problem to the one you described.

    Plugin worked fine in all respects and even looked like it was uploading the images but then there were no images in the galleries.

    I am on safari and the flash uploader seems to be a bit hit and miss so I asked Nextgen to use the browser loader and this solved the problem I dont get the nice upload percentage completed status bar but at least the images turn up in my gallery now! Maybe this is worth a shot?

    If you have the Flash Uploader option enabled, disable it! This should solve your problem! If not, please email me at [email protected]

    I have disabled the Flash Uploader option and still nothing happens. Is there something that I’m missing here?

    I ran into the same problem, and was able to fix it by reducing the file size of my images. Certain large-sized photos that were around 2.5 MB would not upload at all. After I resized them to be about 600 x 420 they were less than 1 MB and uploaded perfectly fine.
